Come support the Hoosier Mountain Bike Association for our biggest fund-raising event of the year. Enjoy an epic ride on beautiful trails within one of the largest and best-preserved contiguous hardwood forests in the Midwest. It isn't a race, it's just a great ride in the woods with a few hundred of your closest friends! The ride begins and ends at beautiful Brown County State Park near Nashville, Indiana. We have a full weekend of events planned. Please see the Event FAQ for details.

~ Trail, trail and more trail! We pack more sweet single track into this event than any other mountain bike event around. The 25 mile route is 100% single track trail. The other routes, including the 100 mile route are at least 80% single track trail. The 2011 event features the brand new Green Valley Loop, completed in 2011 with the help of funds raised from the Brown County Breakdown
~ Tons of prizes will be given away randomly to participants! 2011 prize highlights included a SRAM XO 2x10 group (including shifters, front and rear derailleur, cassette, bottom bracket and cranks), Saris Bones RS bike rack, a Garmin Edge 800 GPS and Garmin ForeRunner 610 along with lots of great giveaways from event sponsors and more!

~ Lots of live bluegrass music! Join us throughout the weekend for live performances from local bluegrass bands; New Old Cavalry and the White Lightning Boys, and special musical guest, Danny Barnes!
~ There will be live bluegrass music from Weed Patch Music at the hidden cabin rest stop on the 45, 65, 80 and 100 mile routes and live bluegrass and acoustic music at the finish area. We even have some musical surprises up our sleeves. You'll have to come ride to find out!
~ Complimentary beer tasting sponsored by Upland Brewing Company (Bloomington, IN) and Big Woods Brewing Company (Nashville, IN). Other beer sponsors include Flat 12 Bierwerks of Indianapolis, IN. Free gourmet coffee is available the morning of the event sponsored by Revolution Bike and Bean (Bloomington, IN).
~ A huge hog roast at the end of the ride provided by the legendary Jug's Catering. The menu includes fresh roasted pork that melts in your mouth, fried chicken, baked beans, au gratin potatoes, corn on the cob, Brown County fried biscuits with apple butter (how many can you eat?), pasta salad and ice cold iced tea to wash it all down!~ Access to the hog roast for friends, family, and non-riders will be available at the finish. The cost is $15 per person. Children ages 6-12 are $10 and children under 6 are free! Please pre-register for the hog roast to ensure availability.
~ Great rest stops provided by Nebo Ridge Bicycles, Bicycle Garage Indy, West Trails Bicycles and Friends of Brown County State Park that feature lots of snacks and fluids. The main rest stop features a hidden, private cabin in a beautiful wooded valley with live music. It also features free, professional mechanical support provided by Joe's Cycles (45, 65, 80 and 100 mile routes only).
~ Join us on Saturday for a "Family Fun Ride" at 2 p.m. This fun, casual ride is open to anyone of all ages and mountain biking experience and is a great way to introduce friends and family to the joys of mountain biking. This ride is free and open to the general public and will cover trails such as Pine Loop, North Tower Connector and North Tower Loop. This ride does not include t-shirt or hog roast ticket. See Event FAQ for more details.
